The firm was founded in 1974, under the original name of Cordero, Madera & Asociados, which was changed in 1993, by F. Madera, Soriano and Associates. Since its inception, it has been registered with the Institute of Authorized Public Accountants of the Dominican Republic, the body that governs accounting in the country, where it maintains an active participation, collaborating and supporting the different actions of the institution. Our senior partner served as chair of the ICPARD board twice. In 2000, Patricia Alexandra Madera Soriano joined the company as a partner, after more than 10 years in the firm and previous work experience in an international firm, who currently has the responsibility of the office's management.
