Zahid Jamil & Co., Chartered Accountants was pleased to hold its Annual General Meeting on August 6, 2023 in Faisalabad, Pakistan. The Masters of Ceremony for the AGM were Mohammad Afaq, Hina Arzoo, Mohammad Hamdan Khan and Ayesha Tariq.

A particular highlight of the event was the speech delivered by Mr. Muhammad Abbas, DIrector of Corporate & Secretarial Services, and the presentation of the Golden Jubilee Award on the occasion of his 50th anniversary at Zahid Jamil & Co. Everyone at the company would like to congratulate and thank Mr. Abbas for his many years of dedicated and valued service.

Further speakers on the day included Mr. Ahamd Suleman Zahid, ACA, Partner for Advisory, Business Development & Inter Offices Coordination, Mr. Ehtisham Suleman Zahid, FCCA, Director of Taxation & Accounting Services, Mr. Ali Hassan, ACA, Partner for Risk & IT Advisory, and Mr. Muhammad Amin Sheikh, FCA, Partner for Audit & Assurance,

Interesting presentations were also delivered by Chartered Accountant trainees on the following subjects: Waqas Younus on the "Impact of AI on Job Market"; and Muhammad Hamdan Khan on "How you can become Virat Kohli of CA Profession."

• Silver Jubilee Awards for Muhammad Ashfaq, Muhammad Yaqoob and Muhammad Shafiq;
• "Performance Excellence Award" to Wahib Maqboob and Momena Arshad for outstanding performances in ICAP CFAP and MSA exams, 2022-23;
• and "Performance Excellence Award" to Eman Inam, Nabeel Raza, Mubashir Latif, Tanzeel Shahid, Naeem Yousaf and Sundas Wahaeed for outstanding performances in Audit & Assurance, Taxation, Accounting & FR, Accounting Outsourcing Local & Foreign, and Internal Audit assignments, 2022-23.
