ACCA’s annual Global Talent Trends Survey 2023 reveals the top challenges faced by employers as they adapt and experiment with new ways of working. PrimeGlobal was a major contributor to the survey, including key input from Steve Heathcote, CEO, and Gorana Stojanovic, Executive Director - Communications and Strategy.

Important themes and trends that came out of the survey include:

  • the talent crunch
  • retention challenges
  • hybrid working
  • employee burnout
  • the rapid pace of change in technology.

The findings can be used by firms to inform their talent management and employee support strategies.

Technology

ACCA’s talent trends survey clearly highlights areas of concern around the use of technologies. Respondents overwhelmingly claim to understand how technology helps them add value to their organizations or to their clients, but there’s a skills gap, with 86% wanting more training support on technology from their employers, and 42% claiming to be overwhelmed by the pace of technological change impacting their jobs.
