How are “Best Companies to Work For” selected?
Every year, Utah Business puts out a call looking for the best companies to work for. To be eligible, companies must have at least 25 employees working in Utah. The vetting process is rigorous. Using Qualtrics technology, employees fill out anonymous surveys. In addition, each company goes through a rigorous examination of workplace elements including benefits, pay, fairness, opportunity, culture, communication, and employee pride. This year, workplace flexibility was also a big factor. Being a “best company” is about creating a place where employees are treated kindly and with respect.
