Thank you to everybody who joined us at this year's Mexico Sub-Regional Conference. This conference is always a great opportunity for regional firms to meet and discuss a wide range of issues facing the accountancy profession. This year's conference was held in the sprawling economic powerhouse of Monterrey.

The conference began with a short breakfast where attendees had the opportunity to meet other PrimeGlobal members and reconnect with their peers and colleagues. This was followed by a warm welcome and opening comments by Latin America Chairman Miguel Angel Sepulveda (TRAUST Accounting & Legal Firm). Luis García Peña, COO of Mareazul Capital and Managing Partner of Legacy Wealth Corporation next gave an excellent presentation on "Geopolitics, Economic Perspectives" which provided some interesting insights and a stimulating beginning to the morning sessions.

After a short break Juan I. Rivero Celorio (R&O Rivero & Olivares) was joined on stage by Mario García (Calvetti Ferguson), Salvador Hurtado (HGS Consulting) and Eduardo Pol (O&P Group) for a panel discussion around the topic "Possible Effects of the Tax Reform in the US and NAFTA on Mexico". After lunch the attendees were treated to another great panel session where Fabián Larrea (Aktiva CEO) Jessica Guevara (Z&A General Manager) and Eduardo Beristain (R&O Rivero & Olivares, Partner) discussed "Mexican Quality Control Standards". After a short break Eduardo Williams (Founder and CEO at Contalink) gave his presentation "Technology: Tegik Contalink" to end the conference.

Thank you to everybody who joined us this year. We look forward to seeing you again at the next PrimeGlobal conference.
