PrimeGlobal Welcomes New Chair, Board & Regional Council Members

June 7, 2021Please join us in welcoming Mark Worsey (Buzzacott, UK) as PrimeGlobal's new Board Chair, succeeding former Chair Cornelius V. Kilbane Jr. (Raich Ende Malter & Co. LLP, USA) on June 1st.
We are delighted Mark has accepted the Chair role, having made a vast contribution to PrimeGlobal’s development to a staff led, member guided association. Over many years he has created connections across PrimeGlobal firms to ensure that clients are supported.
He has held a number of critical oversight positions. As a previous Chair of the World Board Governance Committee, Mark took steps to put in place standards that supported firm collaboration. As Finance Committee Chair, for both the World Board and the new Board, he built the foundations that enabled consistently accurate reporting and reliable controls. This created the confidence required for member firms to support the change in our governance model. Mark’s election as Chair is well deserved. Mark will be ready to take us to the next level, guiding the Board, and bringing together member firms and staff, to deliver our new Strategy.
We would like to take this opportunity to highlight the exceptional contribution of our outgoing Board Chair, Cornelius V. Kilbane Jr. During Neal's time as Board Chair, the association witnessed record growth and coverage, adopted a new Strategy, and was named the Association of the Year 2020/21 by the International Accounting Bulletin. We would certainly not be in the position we are today without him.
