As local governments around the world allow in-person events to resume, PrimeGlobal’s top priority remains the well-being of its members and staff. As part of the association’s event recovery plan, the Executive Management Team will conduct risk assessments for determining the feasibility and safety of in-person meetings commencing with events postponed to 2021. PrimeGlobal intends to continue with planning for these events but is aware this is contingent on several factors.

While the pandemic remains a significant challenge, we do recognize our members’ desire to reconnect in-person as soon as safety permits. When meetings do resume, things may look a little different, but we are committed to continuing with providing the same quality experience our members have come to expect in a relaxed, professional atmosphere.

We are also developing a carefully crafted Duty of Care plan which is a working document that will continue to evolve, incorporating new ways to further enhance the onsite experience and safety for everyone in attendance. We are all in this together and are accountable for making sure we abide by and engage in certain health-and-safety-beneficial conduct while onsite. This will ensure we create a safe, worry-free experience for all attendees.

"The “next normal” will present its challenges but also opportunities for connecting in new ways. Event technologies such as full production virtual platforms and hybrid models will allow members from around the globe more opportunities to receive thought leadership by bridging the gap between live and digital experiences. We are excited about the possibilities ahead and look forward to reconnecting in-person soon." Stacey Sanchez, PrimeGlobal Executive Director Events
