June 1, 2020 – Today, PrimeGlobal hosts its first virtual Women’s Leadership Conference, welcoming 300 members from North America and other PrimeGlobal regions.
This year’s virtual conference focus is on discussing how firms are evolving, promoting and empowering female leaders. The conference welcomes leaders from PrimeGlobal firms and the association’s strategic partner Thomson Reuters, as part of the multi-year international relationship PrimeGlobal has entered in May this year.
“The past few months have served as a stark reminder of how interconnected we all truly are, and in that spirit, what better way to empower the next phase of our profession’s development than by finding new ways to inform and cultivate a community of stronger, more capable professionals.” Charlotte Rushton, President, Tax & Accounting Professionals, Thomson Reuters
The PrimeGlobal and Thomson Reuters partnership on diversity and women’s leadership initiatives represents a significant step in international cooperation throughout the accounting profession.
“During these challenging times, the world needs the strongest leadership possible to help business build resilience and, ultimately, drive the recovery, and that’s why we’re excited to work with a company like Thomson Reuters that shares our values,” Stephen Heathcote, PrimeGlobal CEO
“Over the months ahead and during our Women’s Leadership Conference, we will focus on shining a light on the many inspiring women leaders across PrimeGlobal member firms and within Thomson Reuters, while creating a forum that allows for everyone to participate in the future of our Industry.”
