REDONIS is a full-service tax law and audit firm with 60 professionals across offices in Regen, Deggendorf, and Munich. It provides interdisciplinary expertise in tax advisory, audit, M&A, private equity, venture capital, and international taxation.
Founded in 1932 by Christoph Leidel in Regen, Bavaria, the firm began as a small consulting office and steadily expanded under family leadership before evolving into a multidisciplinary practice. Today, the firm is led by partners Rudolf Stettmer, Jakob Eisenreich, Marina Baltet, and Karin Maurer, and operates under the name REDONIS, as rooted in Bavaria and named for the rivers Regen, Danube, and Isar.

Proud of almost 100 years of company history. Which tax consultancy can look back on almost 100 years of company history? REDONIS has achieved this extraordinary development through continuous improvement and focus. From a local tax advisor to a supra-regional interdisciplinary tax law and audit firm. An overview of almost 100 years of history: The beginnings The history of their firm dates back to 1932. The foundation was laid by Christoph Leidel, who set up his own consulting office in Regen (Bavaria, Germany) as a “book auditor, trustee, tax and business consultant.” In 1980, the firm was taken over by his son Peter Leidel. He initially ran the firm as a legal advisor with the support of trustees Karl Zuber and Agnes Fleischer, and from 1986 onwards as a tax advisor. Years of growth Through continuous education and additional qualifications, the firm ensured that the high quality standards in all tax and business management areas could be met for its clients. In 2022, the second office was opened in Deggendorf (Bavaria/Germany), and in 2024, Munich (Bavaria/Germany) became the third consulting location in order to meet client demand in the areas of M&A, private equity, venture capital and international taxation. The interdisciplinary law firm is now managed by partners Rudolf Stettmer (tax advisor), Jakob Eisenreich (tax advisor and chartered public accountant/auditor), Marina Baltet (lawyer and specialist in tax law) and Karin Maurer (tax advisor). Today From 2025, the firm will operate under the name REDONIS and employs 60 people. The name reflects the change and modernization that the firm has undergone in its nearly 100-year history: away from a personoriented market presence as Leidel & Partner towards an interdisciplinary commercial tax law and audit firm, located on the Bavarian rivers Regen, Danube, and Isar.
