The relationships we have made through the PrimeGlobal network are invaluable, forming a connection across the oceans and borders.
For a small African-based firm, PrimeGlobal has given us the chance to connect with like-minded firms in all corners of the world. The membership has offered Accensis growth in ways we could have never imagined; gaining knowledge from experts around the globe and sharing insights from experiences and new work opportunities.
We recently connected with Visser & Visser in the Netherlands, who were keen on working with our outsourced audit services team. It was a done deal once we signed the contract at the PrimeGlobal World Summit hosted in Miami in 2023.
Our staff, who have been working closely with Visser & Visser, are excited about forging bonds and the impact this kind of work has on their professional growth.
Audit trainee Khofhid Govender says the opportunity to work with a Dutch company has created a paradigm shift in his career.

Like many other member firms, Visser & Visser Audit and Assurance also face a capacity issue concerning market demand. During the PrimeGlobal Technical Forum in Zagreb, I had the opportunity to meet Suresh Naidoo, partner and auditor at Accensis. Following the subsequent meetings, it was quickly concluded that hiring capacity from Accensis was a viable solution to address the capacity challenge. To formally initiate the project, framework agreements were signed, taking into account mutual interests and applicable local laws and regulations, including GDPR.
The project then got off to a flying start, with a deliberate decision to jointly conduct the first audit assignment locally in Durban, South Africa. This joint execution provided an opportunity for both teams to better understand each other's methods and culture. It also created a low barrier for South African colleagues to ask questions and allowed for quick adjustments when necessary.
As with most things in life, communication is the key to a successful partnership. Together with Accensis, we achieve this by scheduling periodic Teams meetings to discuss ongoing matters. Additionally, the communication lines at all levels are short, which is also a positive outcome of the physical meeting in Durban.
Looking ahead, our collaboration will be further intensified as Accensis staff members are recruited and integrated into Visser & Visser's international audit teams.
