From strategy to community: what industry recognition means for PrimeGlobal
PrimeGlobal News
September 25, 2026Against the backdrop of a profession in flux, PrimeGlobal has focused on one objective: helping member firms stay ready for what's next.
Recent recognition at the International Accounting Awards, including a fourth Association of the Year title since 2020, provides independent validation of that approach.

Recognition built on results
The Association of the Year award recognises growth, innovation, member service and an ability to respond to the challenges facing the profession. This year's submission highlighted a period of significant progress:
- Member firm revenues reached US$6.4 billion, representing 19% growth.
- The association's global community expanded to 316 firms, 1,271 locations and more than 53,000 professionals across 120 countries.
- Asia Pacific, a focus area for the association, recorded revenue growth of 61%.
But what do these numbers mean for our members?
Underlying these results is a sustained focus on helping firms build capability, identify new opportunities and strengthen connections across the global community. Over the past year, this has included the launch of Strategy 2030, expansion of PrimeGlobal's corporate finance and advisory programmes, new strategic partnerships with technology providers including DataSnipper, Fieldguide and Suralink, and continued investment in the MyPrimeGlobal platform to strengthen collaboration, referrals and knowledge sharing across borders. Together, these initiatives help firms access practical support, build expertise and unlock new business opportunities. It is this combination of commercial success and member value that continues to distinguish PrimeGlobal within the profession.
Turning challenges into momentum
Those results matter because they have been achieved against a complex market backdrop.
Private equity investment has accelerated consolidation, competition for talent remains intense and firms are under pressure to embrace new technologies while maintaining high-quality client service.
In response, PrimeGlobal has focused on helping member firms navigate these changes with confidence. Rather than reacting to short-term market developments, the association used this period to strengthen its long-term direction through the development of Strategy 2030.
Built around three priorities, building capability, driving opportunities and activating the community, Strategy 2030 is a bold roadmap designed in collaboration with members (over 700 contributed their feedback) to help firms remain agile, future-focused and ready for change.
This collaborative approach, acknowledged in the award win, reflects an important principle: the most effective strategies are not created for members, but with them.
From strategy to community
Creating a strategy is one thing. Bringing it to life is another.
This year, PrimeGlobal was also recognised with the Communications and Brand Campaign of the Year award for the global launch of its new strategy. Rather than treating the strategy as a document to be distributed, the campaign transformed it into a shared movement across the association.
At the heart of the campaign was a simple triangle symbol representing focus, strength and direction. Its simplicity allowed firms in different markets and cultures to interpret and adopt the concept in ways that felt authentic to them. What began as a visual identity quickly became a unifying symbol for the association's future direction.
Too often, organisations view engagement as something that happens after a strategy is created. PrimeGlobal's experience suggests the opposite. When people are actively involved in shaping a strategy, they are far more likely to champion it, share it and help make it successful.
Innovation with purpose
Another characteristic that connects many of PrimeGlobal's award-winning initiatives is a focus on practical innovation.
The association has continued to invest in technology, including the My PrimeGlobal platform, enhanced networking capabilities, AI-powered tools and strategic partnerships designed to help firms work more effectively and collaborate across borders.
These investments are not technology projects for their own sake. They are designed to solve real challenges facing firms, by helping to strengthen professional relationships and create opportunities across the global community.
A pattern of consistency
Winning an award once is an achievement.
Winning Association of the Year four times since 2020, and eleven in total including awards recognising communications excellence, ESG leadership and diversity and inclusion, reflects PrimeGlobal’s commitment and focus on its purpose.
The common thread running through each of these recognitions is the ability to bring people together around a shared ambition, and turn strategy into meaningful action.
As the profession continues to evolve, the role of professional associations will become increasingly important. Firms need access to knowledge, capabilities, opportunities and trusted relationships that help them navigate uncertainty and seize new opportunities globally.
Associations of the future must forge thriving communities in order to succeed. So perhaps the real reason the judges continue to recognise PrimeGlobal year after year is not just the strength of the strategy. It is the strength of the community behind it.
