Since early 2023, JOINSON&SPICE have recognized and embraced AI, building a ChatGPT environment, supporting the firm’s proprietary audit approach by established a private, secure environment in connection to client data at early stage.

The member firm released its internal ChatGPT, SpiceGPT, as a safe space for colleagues to experiment with Generative AI on real data. The firm ensured internal training for all colleagues on how these types of AI models work, including how they can best be used, and which pitfalls to avoid when working with GenAI. The third phase was building experimental apps on top of the secure platform that tailor to specific use cases they believed could help their employees.

In its fourth and current phase, the firm is experiencing an integration of developments and the practical use to daily practice. JOINSON&SPICE decided to seek ways to internalize AI in all its daily developments. It has found numerous ideations and first-attempts to integrate AI into daily practice, helped by its ideation environment tool. The firm has achieved a stage where AI on an ongoing and durable basis helps to enhance quality and efficiency for all levels of staff working with it.
