PrimeGlobal continues to strengthen its global corporate finance capability, working closely with member firms across regions to deepen collaboration and better support clients navigating acquisitions and growth opportunities across borders.

Corporate Finance meeting

That progress was on display at a recent corporate finance leaders’ meeting in Belgium, which brought together senior practitioners from across Europe, while also connecting live with members in Asia Pacific, the Americas and Australia. The hybrid format reflected PrimeGlobal’s focus on creating practical, real-time connections between firms, regardless of geography.

Commenting on the meeting, Steve Heathcote, CEO of PrimeGlobal, said the session demonstrated how the association’s corporate finance community is evolving:

“It was great to see corporate finance leaders coming together in Belgium while actively engaging with colleagues in Japan, the US and Australia. The conversations were open, constructive and highly practical, with firms generously sharing experience and working together on real opportunities. We’re also seeing our new platforms really come into their own—bringing firms closer, speeding up learning and helping turn relationships into meaningful business outcomes. This is a strong and growing group, and there’s much more ahead.”

The Leuven meeting built on momentum generated through PrimeGlobal’s wider corporate finance focus. The association is working with firms to help them better support clients who are looking to buy or sell businesses, by connecting them with trusted corporate finance expertise across the PrimeGlobal community. These strong cross-border relationships enable firms to respond quickly, access local market insight and deliver joined-up advice for clients operating internationally.

Discussions during the meeting focused on practical ways to deepen collaboration, including sharing deal opportunities, developing common collateral and thought leadership, expanding training and development initiatives, and making effective use of new tools to support mandates and client introductions across regions.

The event was hosted by Van Havermaet and chaired by Quantuma partner Ian Barton, who chaired discussions on how the network can continue to strengthen its corporate finance proposition globally.

With further corporate finance meetings already planned in the months ahead, PrimeGlobal’s focus remains on building a connected, engaged and commercially effective community—helping member firms collaborate with confidence and deliver tangible value to clients worldwide.
